Piston type water flow switch is a sensor device used for water circulation control, inlet and outlet control, water heating control, water pump switch control, solenoid valve on/off control or outlet power-off, outlet power on control and other processes in electric water heaters, solar water heaters, air conditioners and other water systems. When a certain flow rate is reached, the water flow is converted into a switch type electrical signal.
The flow switch consists of a magnetic core, a reset spring, a forged copper or carbon shell, and a sensor. The shell is made of SUS304 stainless steel, the magnetic core is made of neodymium iron boron permanent magnet material, and the sensor magnetic switch is an imported medium power component. The inlet and outlet interfaces are both G1/2 "standard pipe threads.
Working principle: When the water flow rate in the pipeline is greater than 0.75L/min, the magnetic core is displaced by the water flow and drives the magnetic source to produce a magnetic control effect, causing the sensor to output a "1" switch signal. This signal is input to the equipment control system, and after power amplification, it achieves the purpose of water flow control. When the water flow rate in the pipeline is less than 0.75L/min, the magnetic core drives the magnetic source back to its original position under the thrust of the reset spring, causing the sensor to output a "0" switch signal and stop the system from working. Flow switches have advantages such as high sensitivity and strong durability.

Applicable range and conditions of piston type flow switch:
(1) The ambient temperature shall not be lower than 0 ℃. Do not strike the shell. Stay away from magnetic objects.
(2) The output of the signal is a switch quantity, so the connection method of the controlled object must also be a switch control relationship.
(3) The power of the controlled object shall not exceed the signal load capacity.
