In pipeline pressure testing, pressure testing is carried out after pipeline welding is completed. The pressure testing is mainly used to test the pressure resistance of the pipeline and whether there is micro leakage. The uncertainty, sensitivity, and high accuracy of the pressure balance cannot be replaced by any instrument at present, so the pressure balance is one of the indispensable instruments for pipeline pressure testing.
Technical indicators of pressure balance:
- Pressure range: (5~250) bar (10~500) bar or customized other ranges
- Uncertainty: 0.05 level, 0.02 level, 0.01 level
- Minimum leakage detection value: 0.005MPa (0.05kg)
- Current output: 4-20mA (HART) accuracy level 0.05 (485 output optional)
- Auxiliary pressure indicator: pressure gauge
- Auxiliary displacement indicator: color changing indicator system
- Threaded interface: M20 * 1.5 external thread
The principle of using a pressure balance
A pressure balance is equivalent to a liquid balance, with one side being the pressure generated by the weight of the weight and the other side being the pressure inside the liquid pipeline. When these two pressures are equal, the two are balanced (the specific value of the pressure inside the pipeline is detected, and the sum of the weight values is the pressure value inside the pipeline). When there is a slight leakage in the pipeline, this balance will be interrupted (to detect whether there is a slight leakage in the pipeline).
In order to make the balance of the pressure balance more intuitive, we have introduced an indicator light system for the first time. When the pressure balance changes, the same indicator light will change to different colors. This system is the first application of Xi'an Yunyi and has uniqueness nationwide and even worldwide, making it more convenient for customers.
The construction principle of pressure balance

Due to the fact that in the operation of the balance, the pressure P2 medium in the pipeline is often water pressure, which may contain stones, sand, etc. The balance is a precision instrument, and there should be no debris between the piston rod and the piston cylinder of the balance. Therefore, liquid static pressure balance is introduced on this principle, which cleverly protects the piston system through pressure conversion.
