The production line employs four workers to carry out the process of packaging carrot slices into pallets. Due to the large amount of material discharged from the front-end, slow manual processing speed, and poor hygiene environment, the customer hopes to improve the efficiency of palletizing and food hygiene cleanliness through the production of automated robots.
Carrot slices are simultaneously discharged by three discharge devices, and the material is conveyed by a conveyor belt to the vision system for recognition of contour and pose information. After communicating with the vision system, the Burkent high-speed parallel robot sequentially extracts carrot slices based on the information and quickly places them in the tray processed by the opening tray machine. After the entire tray is filled, send it to the sealing area for packaging. If the incoming material shape is not qualified, the robot will not process it and it will eventually fall into the recycling bin at the end of the conveyor belt. This production line uses one robot to complete the two processes of carrot slice quality sorting and palletizing.
