working principle:

The main body of the disc dryer is mainly composed of a stator, rotor, and driving device.

(1) Stator: The stator of the disc dryer is approximately cylindrical in shape, with a dome at the top to provide volume space for the carrier gas and water vapor. It is also equipped with exhaust gas outlets and maintenance holes to facilitate equipment maintenance and repair. The stator end plate is installed with flanges for easy maintenance, and it is also used to fix the bearings of the garden.

(2) Rotor: It is the load-bearing part of the entire dryer, consisting of a hollow shaft and a set of hollow disks. To improve the robustness of the disc, several sets of support rods are arranged in a circular pattern within the hollow cavity. A pusher/agitator is installed on the outer edge of the disc, which simultaneously serves to push and stir the material.

(3) Drive device: composed of an embedded gearbox, belt drive, coupler, and motor, used to drive the rotor to rotate slowly.

(4) Working medium: medium and low pressure steam, heat transfer oil or high-pressure hot water, generally using saturated steam of 0.2Mpa~0.6Mpa.

(5) Working principle: Sludge is fed into the dryer through the inlet, and the working medium flows between the outer shell and the hollow shaft. Heat is transmitted through the jacket, hollow shaft, and hollow disc welded on the shaft. The sludge is indirectly heated and dried, and the generated water vapor accumulates in the dome of the dryer and is carried out of the dryer by the carrier gas. The hollow disc is basically perpendicular to the shaft and does not cut the sludge, passing through the disc.

characteristic:

1. The sludge inside the dryer is wet sludge. In order to prevent the sludge from sticking to the turntable, there is a fixed and long scraper on the inner wall of the shell, which extends to the gap between the discs and plays a role in stirring the sludge and cleaning the disc surface. After crushing and stirring, the sludge becomes uniform particles, which is beneficial for further disposal;

2. Using a low-temperature heat source (≤ 180 ℃) for heating, the sludge on the disc will not overheat when parked;

3. The sludge treatment load is high, and even if the feeding is uneven, it can ensure smooth operation, with low internal operating resistance and significantly reduced equipment power consumption;

4. The horizontal disc dryer transfers heat through the outer shell wall, hollow shaft, and the left and right sides of each vertical disc, with a large heat transfer area, compact structure, and small external dimensions;
