PVC-U communication pipes are basically connected using socket solvent bonding. When using socket type solvent bonding connection, PVC-U water supply pipeline specific solvent adhesive should be selected. Before bonding, the end face of the pipe socket to be bonded should be cut flat and cleaned to be free of oil and water, kept clean and dry for future use. Then, the socket of the pipe fittings used for bonding connection should be cleaned to be free of oil, water and other impurities for future use. Dip a small brush into solvent adhesive and evenly apply it from the inside out onto the inner surface of the pipe socket, then onto the outer surface of the pipe socket. After application, immediately insert the pipe into the pipe socket and wait for it to solidify before releasing. The solvent adhesive should be applied in an appropriate amount, not too much. When inserting the connection, force should be applied, and the insertion should be done while rotating, about 1/4 of a turn. The workplace for solvent bonding connections should prohibit open flames, provide ventilation, and be protected from rain and sun exposure. In winter, when the temperature is below 0 ℃, solvent bonding should be heated appropriately using non open flame methods before use.
