The connection between the inspection well and the pipeline should use flexible joints sealed with flexible fillers, and the specific structure should be carried out according to the design requirements.
Attention should be paid to excavating trenches and laying foundations. The net width of the trench bottom for PE threading pipes should be increased by 0.6m based on the outer diameter of the PE threading pipe; During trench excavation, drainage measures should be taken to prevent the bottom of the trench from being soaked in water; )The pipeline foundation must use a gravel cushion layer, with a thickness of 0.1m for general soil foundations and not less than 0.2m for soft soil foundations. The specific method shall be in accordance with the design requirements; The foundation must be solid and the surface must be smooth. The interface of the pipeline foundation should reserve grooves for interface operation. The groove length should be 0.4m-0.6m, the depth should be 0.05m-0.1m, and the width should be 1.1 times the outer diameter of the PE threading pipe. When the depth of the lower pipe groove is not large, the pipe can be manually lifted into the groove. When the groove depth is greater than 3m, non-metallic ropes can be used to slide the pipe into the groove.
When working on the interface of PE threading pipes, the installation position of the rubber ring should be in the groove between the second and third waves of the socket. The number of sealing rings installed depends on the design requirements. When using two sealing rings, it is recommended to separate them by one wave; Before the interface, the inner and outer surfaces of the socket should be cleaned, and a sealing ring should be inserted into the socket. Lubricant (usually soap water) should be applied to the working surface and rubber ring surface inside the socket, and the insertion direction should be in the direction of water flow;
After the interface is completed, backfill the soil layer; The installation of socket pipes should be carried out in the direction of water flow, with the socket installed in the opposite direction of water flow, from downstream to upstream; PE threading pipes should be laid in a straight line, and the allowable angle of the axis of adjacent sections of the pipeline should generally not exceed 2 degrees. To prevent the axis position of the pipeline that has already been arranged from moving when the interface is closed, stabilizing measures must be taken. A woven bag filled with sand can be used, sealed and pressed onto the top of the already arranged pipeline, with the quantity varying depending on the diameter of the pipe. After the pipeline interface, the depth and axis of the pipe bottom should be rechecked to meet the requirements. If displacement, suspension, or pullout occur, rework should be carried out.
When backfilling soil, attention should be paid to the corner area, that is, within the 2D corner range, medium sand and coarse sand should be used to fill it first; Within the range of 0.7m above the top groove of the pipe, manual backfilling must be used for the basic part; Mechanical backfilling can be used from both sides of the pipeline axis when the top of the pipe is above 0.7m; The optimal compaction degree (%) of the backfill soil used in various parts of the groove edge shall be in accordance with the design requirements or the technical specifications of CECS122:2001.
