Dual beam optical system improves measurement accuracy
The xenon lamp emits very strong light, and without compromising the measurement accuracy of the sample, the spectrometer extracts and measures a small portion of the light to the built-in reference detector. Perform reference beam calibration simultaneously with each sample measurement.
The dual beam optical system performs reference beam correction on each data point to maximize the accuracy of each measurement. Long term measurement without drift, peak drift of scanning speed variation. The dual beam system ensures that the instrument can obtain very superior data in the full ultraviolet to near-infrared spectral range. Xenon lamps only emit light pulses during measurement.
■ Long life xenon lamp
The xenon lamp of the Orion AquaMate 8100 UV visible spectrophotometer provides excellent performance across the entire wavelength range of 190-1100nm At the same time, high-intensity light sources in the ultraviolet range provide strong support for applications in life sciences, environmental testing, and organic chemistry.
Xenon lamps can usually be maintenance free for 3-5 years (the estimated lifespan of xenon lamps comes from engineering data and typical spectrophotometer usage), as they only light up during measurement. Compared with traditional light sources, an average of nearly 20000 yuan in maintenance costs has been saved over the past 5 years (based on data obtained from the XENON flash provided in the Orion Aquamate UV visible spectrophotometer).
Xenon lamp light source does not require preheating, it can be turned on and tested immediately. Because it does not continuously irradiate the sample, xenon lamps help prevent damage to sensitive samples from light and ensure temperature stability of the sample, as they do not change the temperature of the measurement chamber.

The instrument accelerates through wavelength scanning, with a speed of up to 1600nm/minute. Even when measuring high absorbance blank samples, accurate measurement of small absorbance changes is allowed within a particularly large range of luminosity. Scanning data can be analyzed to determine the peaks and valleys of wavelengths, and the scanning data can be saved to a USB drive.
■ Color pool fixed seat
The AQ8100 UV visible spectrophotometer can provide the following four types of mounting brackets, which can be flexibly matched with various colorimetric cells (bottles). 13-25mm adjustable fixed bracket, suitable for circular colorimetric bottles; 20/50mm rectangular colorimetric pool fixing bracket; 10mm square colorimetric cell fixing bracket. For users with a large sample size, they can also choose a 6-position pool rack, which can simultaneously place 6 10mm colorimetric pools. For the measurement needs of trace elements, a 10-100mm rectangular colorimetric cell is provided, which can accommodate one long path rectangular colorimetric cell.
