1、 System Introduction

The online monitoring system for tunnel environment is mainly used to monitor the real-time concentration of toxic and harmful gases and tunnel visibility inside the construction tunnel, ensuring the safety of construction personnel.

The online monitoring system for tunnel environment consists of two parts: online monitoring of the environment inside the tunnel and online monitoring of the environment outside the tunnel. The online monitoring of the environment inside the cave includes CO, CO2, O2, SO2, PM10 (dust), and wind speed. Online monitoring of the environment outside the cave includes wind speed, wind pressure, temperature, humidity, and PM2.5. The monitoring system mainly consists of sensors, corresponding data processing equipment, and transmission equipment.

The online monitoring system for tunnel environment collects the construction site conditions through sensors, processes and analyzes the data, and transmits it to the backend. It can display the on-site environmental monitoring index and issue an alarm for data exceeding the critical value. In addition, video surveillance is used to monitor the situation inside the tunnel and prevent personnel from entering.

4、 Design Basis

The design of the online monitoring system for tunnel environment is mainly based on the "Tunnel Safety Regulations" and "Highway Tunnel Construction Specifications", and environmental monitoring and control are carried out according to the requirements of the above "regulations and specifications". It is implemented in accordance with the "Method for Measuring Dust Concentration in Workplace Air" and conventional harmful gas measurement methods.
