1、 Product Overview:
OW-C-L-01 intelligent open channel flowmeter is a universal industrial intelligent instrument, suitable for flow measurement of rectangular and trapezoidal open channels and culverts in reservoirs, rivers, water conservancy projects, urban water supply, sewage treatment, farmland irrigation, water management and water resources. It has multiple outputs, linear signal input modes such as 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 1-5V, 0-5V, and RS485 communication interface (optional). There are many types of open channel flow meters, generally including weir type open channel flow meters and trough type open channel flow meters. Commonly used measuring weirs and troughs include right angled triangular weirs, rectangular weirs, and Bacher troughs.

The intelligent open channel flowmeter adopts advanced flow velocity measuring instruments and water level measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of speed measurement and calculation. It is a new type of intelligent flow system that uses mathematical models for open channel flow measurement using single probe or multi probe methods according to the requirements of channel width and measurement accuracy.
2、 Characteristics of open channel flowmeter:
1. The measurement range is large, and the flow measurement is not affected by the backflow of tributaries.
2. The flow sensor is not affected by floating sediment, bubbles, and significant changes in water level. It has a simple structure, small volume, and easy installation, which can cause resistance to water flow.
3. Standard channels do not require modification and can be directly installed, with low installation and construction costs, no need for debugging, and easy installation.
4. The display output function is complete, which can display measurement data such as water level, flow rate, flow rate, and cumulative flow rate, and has RS-485 communication interface.
5. It has the function of water level, mud level, and flow rate exceeding the limit alarm.
6. The data saving function can save set parameters and flow values in the event of long-term power outages.
