The AS-5216 microprocessor board provides flexibility and ease of integration. It has high-speed USB 2.0 communication and can be used in conjunction with the following detectors:

1 Sony ILX554B and ILX511B

2 Toshiba 1304

3 Hamamatsu S11155/S7031 and G92xx series with/without TEC

4 Sensors Unlimited 256 and 512

This board is equipped with HD26 digital I/O connectors, featuring 13 programmable I/O ports (3 digital inputs, 10 digital outputs), 2 analog output ports, and 2 analog input ports. One digital output port is typically used to control the flash rate of AvaLight QE pulsed xenon light sources, another digital output is used to control external TTL shutter devices, and a third is used for external control to flash laser sources in LIBS applications. Digital input can be used for external hardware triggering. Up to 127 AS-5216 can be coupled and synchronized through a USB 2.0 interface. This means that it is easy to sample 2 to 127 channels simultaneously. The AS-5216 board can synchronize with other AS-5216 boards, control synchronous data sampling of multiple channels, and connect all to the USB 2.0 high-speed interface. Onboard signal processing allows for data reduction to accelerate scanning and transmission time. Data reduction can be achieved by defining start and stop pixels as well as onboard averaging. Compatible with a wide range of AS-5216-DLL software development kits, the spectrometer can be fully controlled in customer designed software.
