2、 Main application scope and functions

New PMYX series sponge indentation testerIt is mainly applicable to the standard test of soft foam polymer materials, such as sponge, foam and other materials under the national standard requirements of A, B, C and other test conditions for the indentation hardness of sponge, foam and other samples of standard size, to determine the indentation hardness index, indentation hardness characteristics, indentation hardness inspection and compression stress test of sponge, foam and other materials.

3、 Product Overview:

This device has a beautiful and elegant appearance, mainly composed of two parts: the test host and the control system. The instrument is controlled by a computer and can automatically test data according to standard requirements throughout the process. All operations are carried out in software, making the test convenient and easy to operate. It can quickly and accurately collect, process, access, display, and print various data during the experimental process

4、 Software operation instructions:

Pre concavity:

Apply a force of 5N to the sample to measure its thickness, press in 70% of the sample thickness at a rate of 100MM/MIN, and unload at the same rate

Method A - Determination of Concave Hardness Index:

After three preloads, the thickness of the concave sample is 40% and maintained for 30 seconds, and the force value is recorded

Method B - Determination of concave hardness characteristics:

After three preloads, the thickness of the concave sample is 25% and maintained for 30 seconds, and the force value is recorded

Increase the concavity from 25% of the thickness of the concave specimen to 40% and maintain it for 30 seconds, and record the force value

Increase the concavity from 40% of the thickness of the concave specimen to 65% and maintain it for 30 seconds, and record the force value

Calculation of concavity coefficient:

25% required force value for concavity/40% required force value for concavity

Force required for 65% concavity/Force required for 40% concavity

Method C - Determination of concave hardness test:

After conducting three pre indentation tests, measure the instantaneous maximum value after pressing 40% of the sample thickness

Method D - Free setting experimental method:

You can conduct the test according to your own requirements, and this test method is set according to foreign standards. For example, the following test is required: 5 compressions are needed

1. Compress at a speed of 150mm/min for the first time to 30% of the original thickness and return to the initial state.

2. After a 5-second pause, compress at a speed of 90mm/min to 40% of the original thickness and return to the initial state.

3. After pausing for 3 seconds, compress at a speed of 300mm/min to 75% of the original thickness and return to the initial state.

4. After pausing for 1 second, compress at a speed of 75mm/min to 50% of the original thickness and return to the initial state.

5. After pausing for 2 seconds, compress at a speed of 50mm/min to 40% of the original thickness and return to the initial state.
