Selection, installation, and usage instructions:
1. The selection of a water meter should be based on the fact that the flow rate of the pipeline used frequently is less than or close to the commonly used flow rate of the water meter, and the diameter of the water meter cannot be determined solely by the diameter of the pipeline.
Before installing the water meter, stones, mud, and other debris in the pipeline should be removed to prevent damage or malfunction of the water meter. If there are many impurities or poor water quality in the pipeline, a filter should be installed in front of the water meter; Filters should be checked and cleaned regularly to promptly remove accumulated debris.
3. The water meter should be installed horizontally with the dial facing upwards, and the direction of the arrow on the case should be consistent with the direction of water flow in the pipeline; To ensure accurate measurement of the water meter, it should be installed away from the water pump. Necessary straight pipe sections or equivalent water flow straighteners should be installed above and below the water meter. The length of the upstream straight pipe section should not be less than 10 times the nominal diameter of the water meter, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section should not be less than 5 times the nominal diameter of the water meter.
4. Water meters should be protected from exposure to sunlight, pollution, and flooding, and anti freezing measures should be taken during freezing periods.
5. For the convenience of water meter maintenance, install O-ring ball valves at appropriate positions upstream and downstream of the water meter. Install a check valve downstream of the water meter when needed.
6. In order to compensate for the length error during the installation of the water meter and facilitate the disassembly and assembly of the water meter, a corresponding diameter expansion joint can be selected on the downstream side of the water meter
