MyRiam handheld aerosolPersonal dosimeterBuilt in sampling pump collects aerosols on the surface of the filter membrane, and performs alpha spectrum and beta total count analysis through a detector. The monitor displays the current dosimeter and total count. When a hazardous level dose is detected, the instrument will automatically sound and light an alarm.

The handheld aerosol personal dosimeter MyRIAM is used to measure the inhalation dose caused by exposure to long-lived alpha and beta decaying nuclides (LLRDs) in the air. Through the built-in sampling pump, aerosols are collected on the surface of the filter membrane, and the collected radioactivity is immediately analyzed by alpha spectroscopy and beta total count after passing through a semiconductor detector. The impact of naturally occurring radon progeny will be fully compensated for. By using a special filter membrane analysis mode, precise dose measurement can be achieved without the need for other equipment; The very small filter membrane (diameter 17.5mm) can be easily archived and stored. This instrument is lightweight (300g) and can be worn on the body without affecting its flexibility; The sampling head, battery, and electronic components are all integrated into a metal casing, with an overall size comparable to that of a mobile phone; Therefore, we do not need any additional cables or conduits. Can detect dangerous level doses within 60 seconds and issue sound and light alarms; Backlight display shows the current dose (μ Sv or mrem) and total count; The built-in rechargeable battery can work continuously for 24 hours, with a charging time of only 1 hour. No other maintenance is required except for battery charging and monthly replacement of filter membranes. The built-in data storage can store dose curves distributed over time, and infrared data communication is used between the PC and MyRIAM. The instrument is equipped with data transmission and simple analysis software.
