ASGARD1 is a patented millimeter wave radar testing and validation technology that provides a complete testing system in the laboratory to evaluate the performance, availability, and reliability of radar sensors, driver assistance systems, and autonomous driving.
ASGARD1 is located in front of the vehicle or the radar being tested, simulating radar reflections similar to real-life scenariosDue to the HIL/VIL settings, scene information is updated in response to VUT to simulate the driving adventure experience more realistically.
ASGARD1 consists of an echo pattern analysis generator, a database for recording information, and an RF front-end. Users can specify and set different elements of the test scenario through the GUI:
Number and types of vehicles, pedestrians, and other right of way holders
Road and traffic conditions
Environmental elements, such as track protection walls, trees, etc
Weather conditions

The echo simulation system in ASGARD1 can call simulation analysis methods separately or together, or use pre recorded databases. This not only covers a large number of testing scenarios, but also allows for the addition of more testing scenarios by combining existing data. The unique patented method for echo signal simulation analysis in ASGARD1 enables the system to create perception targets at almost zero distance, without the need for mechanical antenna rotation to create perception angles, and simulate various soft targets at a low cost.
This technology aims to replace long-term road testing with laboratory testing, providing simulation opportunities for rare and reproducible scenarios for the tested radar system to ensure that it responds correctly every time.
