Manual type plug gauge
1、 Performance:
- 1. The manual notch gauge is used for measuring the dynamic and static clearances of large water pumps such as gas turbines and water turbines.
2、 Instructions for using digital plug gauge:
Before use, loosen the locking screw, move the ruler frame smoothly, clean the upper and lower sides of the feeler gauge with a clean soft cloth, push the ruler to the right to the front, close the auxiliary ruler with the wedge block, and set the reading to zero.
There are four specifications to choose from for this ruler: 1-10mm 5-15mm 10-20mm 20-30mm. Users can choose the corresponding size and model of plug gauge according to their actual needs.
3. Measurement: When measuring, insert the feeler gauge into the wedge-shaped groove, and the end face of the secondary gauge should be tightly attached to the measured surface and kept perpendicular to the bottom surface.
Direct measurement: 1-10mm can be directly measured, and the measurement data of the wedge-shaped groove opening can be read directly on the display screen;
Additive measurement: When measuring with 5-15mm, 10-20mm, and 20-30mm feeler gauges, first align the secondary gauge with the end face of the wedge block and zero it, and then measure the workpiece.
The value displayed on the screen+the value marked on the wedge block+5mm,+10mm,+20mm respectively=actual measured value.

4、 Precautions
1. Do not expose the caliper to dust or humid environments, the humidity should be below 80%, and prevent exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet rays, or high temperature radiation.
2. The mobile ruler frame should be balanced and prevented from falling or colliding.
3. Do not place the caliper on magnetic objects. Magnetic workpieces should be demagnetized before inspection.
If there is dirt on the surface of the caliper, it can be wiped clean with gasoline. Lubricate the sliding surfaces and wedge blocks of the main and auxiliary rulers with a small amount of clock oil, and do not use acetone or alcohol. Electronic components and the flat surface of the ruler should avoid any contact with solutions.
