product details
MR516 gas sensorThe principle of thermal and electrical conductivity changes caused by gas adsorption on the surface of metal oxide semiconductors is used to determine gas concentration by measuring the change in resistance value of platinum wire coils. MR516 consists of two arms of a bridge composed of a detection element and a compensation element. When encountering flammable gases, the resistance of the detection element decreases, and the output voltage of the bridge circuit changes. This voltage change increases with the increase of gas concentration, and the compensation element serves as a reference and temperature compensation.
Sensor characteristics
The MR516 gas sensor has high sensitivity, fast response speed, good repeatability, stable and reliable component operation, and good resistance to hydrogen sulfide and organic silicon interference.
Main applications
Can be used for concentration detection of flammable gases such as natural gas, liquefied gas, coal gas, and various liquid vapors.
