The replaceable gasket can tightly seal the blade chamber and isolate CO2And water vapor.

Leaf temperature can be directly measured by thermocouples or determined by energy balance method. For example, in the 6400-05 clustered leaf chamber, 6400-07 needle shaped leaf chamber, and 6400-15 duckbill leaf chamber, the energy balance method is used to measure leaf temperature.
There is a bracket on the head or leaf chamber of the LI-6400XT analyzer used to secure the optical quantum sensor, which can be used to measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). Other leaf chambers use GaAsP sensors to measure PAR.
