The electrolysis process of the sodium hypochlorite generator for electrolytic salt water is an electrochemical reaction process, and its raw material is salt. The sodium hypochlorite solution produced is of pure quality. Although the chemical principle is simple, it affects many technical indicators. Therefore, the design of the electrolytic electrode of the sodium hypochlorite generator should consider various factors comprehensively, and be designed and manufactured based on the characteristics of compact and reasonable structure, energy-saving operation, convenient operation and maintenance, high operational reliability, and long equipment service life. Sodium hypochlorite solution is accurately added, safe to operate, easy to use, easy to store, non-toxic to the environment, and there is no gas leakage. It can be added under any working conditions in any environment.

3/Performance description of main components
Pre softening device: Softens the dissolved salt raw water to remove calcium and magnesium ions, reduce the hardness of the water, and ensure that the effluent meets the hardness standards of electrolytic salt water.
Salt water tank: Pre softened water and salt are automatically diluted into 3% -5% diluted salt water after being configured into saturated salt water.
Electrolytic electrode assembly: The anode material is titanium based TA1 coated with ruthenium iridium, and the cathode material is high-quality TA1 titanium. This type of electrode has a long service life, low overpotential, high chlorine evolution current efficiency, and good energy-saving effect.
Rectified power supply: using professionally made regulated switching power supply, with an electrical conversion efficiency of>92%, low heat generation, and stable operation; The power supply itself has input overvoltage/undervoltage protection, output overvoltage/overcurrent/short circuit protection, overheating protection, etc., ensuring high reliability and absolute safety performance of the power supply operation.
Sodium hypochlorite storage tank: The storage tank is used to store all the sodium hypochlorite solution produced by the generator, with high and low liquid level control. When the liquid level reaches a high level, it is in a full tank state, and the generator stops running and lights up the full tank light. As the solution is gradually used, when the liquid level drops to the middle level, the generator restarts and the full tank light goes out. When the liquid level drops below the low control point, it indicates that there is very little sodium hypochlorite solution in the storage tank, and the system will pause automatic chlorine feeding until the liquid level rises above the low control point.
Hydrogen exhaust device: The generator produces a small amount of hydrogen byproduct during the electrolysis process, and a hydrogen exhaust device is installed to ensure safe discharge of hydrogen gas.
Self control system: PLC automatic control can be configured according to customer requirements, and a complete closed-loop dosing control system is composed of variable frequency dosing, online residual chlorine analyzer, and control center. The residual chlorine monitor monitors the residual chlorine content of the sample water in real time and converts the data into 4-20mA signals, which are sent to the control center PLC. The control center calculates the data and outputs an equivalent 4-20mA signal to the variable frequency converter, thereby controlling the flow rate of the dosing metering pump and obtaining a stable value of residual chlorine in the pipeline network, achieving closed-loop, reliable, stable, and safe variable frequency dosing, monitoring, and control.
4/Process flow
After softening treatment, the dissolved salt raw water enters the salt dissolution tank, where the salt is dissolved in water to produce saturated concentrated salt water. The concentrated salt water flows into the diluted salt water tank in an equal proportion to tap water and is diluted to 3% -5% diluted salt water. The salt water flows into the electrolytic cell by itself; The electrolytic cell electrolyzes saltwater to produce 0.8% -1% sodium hypochlorite solution and a small amount of hydrogen gas; Hydrogen gas is discharged to the outside through the hydrogen exhaust device, and sodium hypochlorite solution flows into the storage tank. The metering pump sends the sodium hypochlorite solution to the disinfection treatment facility.
