1. Functional purpose
KS-10 axial connection gate position meter is applicable to the observation and measurement of gate opening in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, ship locks, hydropower stations and water supply and drainage projects. It can be coupled with the measured gate by coaxial connection, sprocket connection, gear connection and other direct connection methods. The instrument itself is designed with an integrated travel control switch, which can directly set the travel limit control point. At the same time, this series of instruments can be connected with gate opening and closing machine control devices and electric displays to form a display and control system; Connecting with computer systems to form a comprehensive measurement and control system for hydropower stations, gates, and water levels; Connected to the communication device, it is used as a digital terminal equipment for hydrological automatic measurement and reporting system and hydrological satellite telemetry system.
This instrument can be used for opening measurement and stroke limit control on flat gates, arc gates, screw hoists, and winches.
2 Working principle
KS-10 type shaft connected brake position meterComposed of mechanical or photoelectric encoders, travel switch devices, and corresponding couplers. The gate movement drives the encoder to rotate through the coupler, which outputs the Gray code encoding signal corresponding to the gate position and the corresponding mechanical travel on/off signal.
The resolution of the KS-10 type shaft connected brake position meter is0.5cm or 1cm.The working process is as follows: when the gate moves vertically or rotates, the coupler connected to the gate moves synchronously. The coupler then drives the main shaft of the encoder to rotate, and the encoder's electrical socket outputs the gate position encoded electrical signal (Gray code) corresponding to the rotation position. For tablet gates, the output signal is decoded by hardware or software for display and observation; For curved or herringbone gates, the Gray code is automatically converted or digitally processed by an electronic display or computer before being output.
At the same time as the encoder rotates, the central axis of the integrated travel switch device also rotates synchronously through the reducer. If it reaches the limit state, it outputs a signal of "on" or "off" to the controller.
