The KF-6901 multifunctional partial discharge detector is a widely used non-invasive detection instrument for partial discharge in medium and high voltage switchgear. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation, and powerful functions. This instrument is suitable for conducting live and rapid inspections of partial discharge in switchgear. It has both TEV and ultrasonic detection methods, which can better determine whether there is partial discharge in the switchgear. The detection results can be quantitatively displayed, stored, and reported for upload.
When partial discharge occurs in the medium and high voltage switchgear, transient ground voltage signals ranging from several millivolts to several volts will be generated on the surface of the metal cabinet, and ultrasonic signals will be generated at the same time. The multifunctional partial discharge detector can collect, analyze, and provide detection data such as the highest TEV amplitude level, weekly pulse count, and severity level to determine whether there is partial discharge in the switchgear, providing reliable basis for maintenance.
