1、 Overview:

The JZHY-180 interfacial tension meter is a simple and practical testing instrument that uses physical methods instead of chemical methods. It can quickly and accurately measure the surface and interfacial tension values of various liquids. Used in the hydraulic and power sectors to test the surface and interfacial tension values of electrical oil, in order to strengthen the supervision of insulation oil quality; This instrument has also been widely used in the petroleum, chemical, scientific research, and education sectors.

2、 Instrument composition and principle:

The instrument mainly consists of key components such as torque wire, platinum ring, sample holder, dial, vernier pointer, bracket, lever holder, fine adjustment worm gear pair, testing worm gear pair, and sample holder. During operation, torque is applied to the torque wire by testing the rotation of the worm gear pair, and this torque is balanced with the surface tension of the liquid by the platinum ring in contact with the liquid surface. When the torque of the torque wire continues to increase and the surface of the measured liquid is broken, the angle at which the torque wire twists is indicated by the vernier on the dial, which is the tension value, expressed in M and measured in mN/m. Finally, multiply the M value by the positive factor F to obtain the measured surface tension and interfacial tension values δ of the liquid.
