overview
The NX5300 is a single slot 3UPXI device that can test UUT through onboard debugging interface (OCD port) or JTAG interface. The NX5300 is a high-performance JTAG based BDM diagnostic system designed specifically for functional testing, development, programming, and troubleshooting of embedded processor systems based on microprocessors and microcontrollers. Advanced features include support for up to 255 devices on a single scan chain, support for 16 NX5300 systems controlled by a single host, and configurable JTAG/BDM clock rates up to 24 MHz. The NX5300 includes 16 high-speed measurement channels. Each channel can measure logic level, frequency, count events, and perform CRC check at a rate of up to 100 MHz. |
The NX5300 can also be used to record and play Serial Vector Format (SVF) files. Using additional software and boundary scan description language (BSDL) files, the NX5300 can monitor the boundary scan pins of UUT, change the state of any pin, and record the entire vector sequence from known good cards. Then these same vectors can be used to test other boards without creating network lists or digital test vectors - providing efficient and cost-effective testing methods for complex digital boards and devices. |
Programming and Software The Windows graphical user interface includes built-in features such as memory read, memory write, I/O read, I/O write, and full access to UUT. Advanced functions such as bus diagnostics, memory testing, memory movement, and copy operations can also be executed through a single command. The built-in macro language supports easy development of complex testing programs without the need to learn programming languages. The NX5300 can connect to any DLL that supports it, such as Visual C, Visual Basic,ATEasy ™, Delphi ™, LabView ™ And LabWindows/CVI ™ The programming language. |
