The loading system adopts a high-precision force sensor and a central controller to form a closed-loop loop to achieve continuous tracking and control of the force application process throughout the entire process. The depth measurement system adopts high-precision displacement sensors, which can obtain a minimum hardness value resolution of 0.1HR.
The stage is fixed and hardness testing is performed by moving the indenter up and down. The fixed test bench can eliminate the coaxiality error caused by the up and down rotation of traditional lead screws, greatly improving the accuracy and repeatability of testing, as well as increasing the stability and efficiency of machine operation.
