Rotary kiln is a device used for high-temperature heating treatment of powdered or granular materials, mainly applied in processes such as activation, oxidation, reduction, pyrolysis, and crystal transformation. It is widely used for drying various negative materials, petroleum coke, and iron phosphate.

working principle:

A rotary kiln roaster generally consists of a furnace barrel, heating system, insulation system, pre cooling system, and control system. Before normal operation, an oven must be dried. After the furnace temperature rises to the process requirements, the wet materials to be roasted are transported by screw to the material box and fed into the cylinder through the feeding plate. The heating system uses natural gas for heating and calcination. After calcination, it is cooled by water cooling in the second half of the pre cooling cylinder. Due to the high temperature of the material, the water pre cooling is divided into two stages for cooling. The furnace barrel can be operated horizontally or tilted. The tilted furnace barrel rotates slowly, and the material is roasted while moving forward, and then enters the next process through the furnace tail discharge device. The residence time of materials in the drum is controlled by adjusting the inclination angle and speed of the drum.
