Spray absorption method is a process of separating pollutants from clean air by spraying odor with water or other treatment agents to settle water-soluble and large particle components in the odor. Its advantage is that water resources are easy to obtain, and can be recycled after filtration and precipitation, minimizing the waste of water resources. Water spraying has a high efficiency in treating large particle components, and different treatment agents can be used according to different exhaust gas components.

The main components of the odor from this sewage station are hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, which have strong water solubility. Firstly, it passes through a first stage absorption tower, where the absorbent is an oxidant (sodium hypochlorite). The hydrogen sulfide and ammonia in the oxidized odor are then subjected to acid-base neutralization (sodium hydroxide) through a secondary oxidation tower, and finally passed through a tertiary absorption tower with clean water as the absorbent, and finally discharged in compliance with standards.
