1、 System Overview
The auxiliary system is an important support system for substations, responsible for safeguarding the daily safety and reliable operation and maintenance of substations. The auxiliary system mainly includes related auxiliary subsystems such as video surveillance, security guards, fire alarms, environmental monitoring, SF6 gas leakage monitoring, access control, lighting, air conditioning, fans, water pumps, etc.
Compared with conventional substations, intelligent substations have higher requirements for auxiliary systems. Building a comprehensive monitoring platform for intelligent substation auxiliary systems can achieve comprehensive monitoring of various dispersed subsystems of the auxiliary system, integrate and link subsystems, and achieve remote transmission to the monitoring center (main station), thereby optimizing the overall management of the auxiliary system and better playing its role.
2、 System architecture
The system adopts advanced computer network technology, database technology, communication technology, automatic control technology, new sensing technology, video capture and compression technology, and utilizes the existing data communication network of the power system to achieve distributed monitoring and centralized management of auxiliary systems, covering subsystems such as environment, video, security, fire protection, access control, SF6 gas, lighting, air conditioning, fans, water pumps, etc., while achieving seamless integration of intelligent devices.

3、 System functions
Implement video surveillance of the main areas and equipment of the substation, and link with lighting for auxiliary lighting;
Real time monitoring of environmental data (temperature and humidity, water immersion, wind speed and rainfall, etc.) in the main areas of the substation;
Implement comprehensive management of the substation security guard subsystem and link it with the video surveillance subsystem to prevent human theft and destruction;
Implement comprehensive management of the substation fire protection system and fire alarm system, and link them with the video surveillance subsystem to avoid and reduce losses caused by fire accidents;
Implement comprehensive management of the substation access control subsystem and link it with the video surveillance subsystem to effectively ensure the safety of the equipment operating environment;
Realize remote manual or sensor linked automatic operation of equipment such as fans, air conditioners, water pumps, etc;
Realize remote manual or sensor linked lighting for auxiliary lighting;
Realize quantitative detection and over limit alarm of SF6 gas in the environment, and can be linked with fans for exhaust;
Implement automatic monitoring, deployment, dismantling, alarm and other functions for subsystems such as substation security, fire protection, environment, and access control.
4、 System features
The integration and integration of various subsystems were carried out using a unified platform for comprehensive management, achieving effective linkage among multiple systems.
The comprehensive monitoring platform adopts a distributed access structure and multi-user permission allocation.
The system supports IEC61850 (DL/T860) protocol parsing and can interact with other systems within the substation, such as automation systems.
The system transmits data to the remote monitoring center master station using IEC61850 (DL/T860) or IEC104 protocols.
Equipment automatic inspection function: Combine multiple preset positions of different cameras according to certain rules and sequences to achieve comprehensive inspection of each device from multiple angles and scenes. Flexible definition of the dwell time for each scene during automatic equipment inspection can be made as needed, and images can be paused and zoomed in during the inspection process; Inspection records can be entered during the inspection process.
Video verification of remote control operation: After the SCADA system sends remote control instructions to a certain device, the system automatically displays on-site image information from multiple angles of the device. The control personnel can comprehensively analyze and judge the operation process and real-time status of the device to ensure the reliability of remote control operation.
