Installation guide for air compressor:
air compressorBefore opening the box upon arrival, the packaging should be inspected to ensure that it is intact and undamaged during transportation. Ensure the integrity of all components and accessories of the air compressor (including accompanying factory documents and spare parts). If any damage is found, the carrier should sign an acknowledgement and notify the local insurance company to claim compensation.
1、 Installation location:
1. air compressorIt should be placed in a clean, dust-free environment with no toxic, flammable, or explosive gases in the air and good ventilation (with hot air on the top and cold air on the bottom).
2. The air compressor must be installed indoors (if installed outdoors, a work shed needs to be built to protect various components of the unit), and the lighting brightness should be conducive to operation and maintenance.
If the outdoor environment is poor and there is a lot of dust, a coarse filter should be added to the air inlet of the room to reduce the indoor dust content and facilitate maintenance work.
4. The ambient temperature must be above 5 ℃ to ensure the normal circulation of lubricating oil.
5. There must be a certain amount of space around the air compressor, preferably 1.5 meters away from the wall, as shown in Figure 8, for operators to carry out daily operations, maintenance, and repair work.
6. Heat recovery: Approximately 85% of the output power of the air compressor can be recovered in the form of hot air, so this energy should be considered when installing the air compressor. The outlet of the hot air should be designed above the top plate of the screw air compressor hood for easy connection of pipelines.
2、 Installation foundation and piping of air compressor pipeline
1. The air compressor does not require a special foundation because there is basically no vibration during operation. The only requirement is to place the air compressor on a horizontal and hard ground.
2. Configuration
(1) The diameter configuration should be suitable for the flow rate requirements of compressed gas, so that the pressure drop in the pipeline should not exceed 5% of the set pressure of the air compressor. Components with high resistance coefficients should be minimized in the pipeline. When the pipeline is long, it is best to choose a diameter larger than the design value.
(2) To prevent condensed water in the pipeline from flowing along the pipeline to the working machine or pneumatic components, an air-water separation device and a drainage device should be installed at the front end.
(3) At the outlet of the air compressor, a one-way valve and a shut-off valve should be installed, followed by a pressure sampling port with an Rc1/4 umbilical and an Rc3/4 umbilical. A Dg20 shut-off valve should be used for maintenance purposes to connect hoses.
3、 Electrical installation requirements and safety specifications for air compressor room
1. According to the input power requirements of the air compressor unit, the correct power line diameter should be selected. When the power line is long, the line loss should be considered, and the wire diameter should be increased to avoid the air compressor not starting normally.
2. A separate power supply system should be considered for large displacement air compressors to avoid affecting the normal operation of other equipment during compressor start-up.
3. When distributing power to the air compressor, it is necessary to confirm that the power supply voltage should be consistent with the rated operating voltage of the air compressor.
4. The air compressor unit must have a reliable grounding wire to prevent danger caused by leakage.
Before starting up, it is necessary to check whether the motor rotates in the specified direction. It is strictly prohibited for the motor to run in reverse to avoid causing significant damage to the host.
6. Check if the oil level is missing, and it is necessary to know the special air compressor oil grade used in the machine for future use.
