Short range molecular distillation apparatus is a special liquid-liquid separation technology that, under high vacuum conditions, allows the average free path of vapor molecules to be greater than the distance between the evaporation surface and the condensation surface, thereby utilizing the difference in evaporation rate of each component in the feed liquid to separate liquid mixtures.

Main characteristics: Principal character
1. Operate at temperatures far below the boiling point of the material, and the material has a short residence time; Beneficial for the separation of high boiling point, thermosensitive, and easily oxidizable materials;
2. Effectively removing substances such as organic solvents, odors, etc. from liquids is a very effective method for solvent extraction and liquid dissolution;
3. Products can be selectively evaporated to remove other impurities, and two or more substances can be separated simultaneously through multi-stage separation;
4. The distillation has a high vacuum degree, which can reach below 0.1pa, and a very high vacuum degree can be obtained inside. Molecular distillation is usually operated at very low pressure, so the material is not easily oxidized or damaged;
5. The distillation liquid film is thin, with high heat transfer efficiency and a film thickness of less than 0.5mm;
6. Higher degree of separation, molecular distillation can separate substances that are not easily separated by conventional methods;
7. There is no boiling or bubbling phenomenon. Molecular distillation is a free evaporation on the surface of the liquid layer, carried out at low pressure, and there is no dissolved air in the liquid. Therefore, the entire liquid cannot be boiled during the distillation process, and there is no bubbling phenomenon;
8. Provide multiple specifications for customers to choose from, suitable for small-scale and pilot experiments. If a larger evaporation area specification is required, it can be customized according to customer requirements;
9. Physical separation method, non-toxic, harmless, pollution-free, and residue free, can obtain pure and safe products;
10. The scraper system is made of PTFE material and SS316L stainless steel material, which has extremely high corrosion resistance;
11. The feeding tank can optionally achieve preheating function, and the preheating temperature can be adjusted;
12. Each interface is sealed with fluorine rubber gaskets, which have good air tightness. If customers need corrosion resistance, they can replace it with PTFE material.
