There are two types of peripheral transmission mud scraper: full bridge and half bridge, with models ZBXN and ZQXN.

The half bridge structure is simple, lightweight, with only one set of driving devices, and the main beam also serves as a mud conveying tank. Compared with the widely used full bridge suction machines in China, the weight is significantly reduced, avoiding the waste of energy consumption of the reflux pump.

Under the drive of the driving device, the full bridge rotates around the central axis of the pool, collecting the sludge deposited at the bottom of the pool from the scraper plate to each suction port. Under the action of the liquid level, the sludge is discharged into the sludge pit through the suction port, sludge conveying tank, siphon tube, central sludge tank, and central sludge discharge pipe.

Determine whether to use a full bridge or a half bridge. When the diameter of the sedimentation tank is greater than 40m, it is recommended to use a full bridge scraper suction machine to avoid prolonged mud retention time; When the diameter of the sedimentation tank is less than 30m, it is recommended to use a half bridge scraper suction machine; A sedimentation tank with a diameter between 30-40m can be equipped with a full bridge or half bridge scraper suction machine. The longest scraper suction time can be calculated as a comparison condition for the same tank diameter. Half bridge has a longer residence time than full bridge, and the amount of sludge scraped and sucked is larger, with coarser management and more quantity. If the half bridge scraper takes more than 2 hours to scrape a circle of mud, it is advisable to switch to a full bridge scraper. Prevent the release of phosphorus from sludge.

So how to determine whether to use central transmission or peripheral transmission?

For sedimentation tanks with a diameter less than 20m, it is recommended to use a center driven scraper suction machine, while for tanks with a diameter greater than or equal to 20m, a peripheral driven scraper suction machine should be used. In cold regions, it is recommended to use center drive for outdoor use to avoid slipping of surrounding drive devices.

The peripheral scraping speed of the scraper is 1.5-3m/min.

For ordinary municipal sewage, the upper part of the scraper suction mud machine is made of carbon steel for corrosion protection, and the upper part is made of stainless steel 304 surface acid washed and passivated.
