Hitachi Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (CMU) can fully meet the requirements of cutting-edge analysis
As is well known, the research and development departments in the fields of medicine and chemistry have very high requirements for instrument performance, resolution, and sensitivity, and the Chromaster Ultra Rs ultra-high performance liquid chromatograph can fully meet the requirements of these users. Typical cutting-edge analyses nowadays, such as high-resolution analysis of impurities in chemically similar and synthetic compounds, and high-sensitivity detection of harmful substances and other impurities closely related to daily life, all place high demands on instrument performance, and Hitachi's ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (CMU) can fully meet these requirements.
Hitachi Chromaster Ultra Rs (CMU)characteristic
Ultra efficient analysis
At present, the world's highest pressure resistance level is 140 MPa, which can truly achieve ultra efficient analysis. Due to the increased pressure resistance of the system, some mobile phases that can cause pressure rise can also be used, which expands the range of optional analysis methods and is very suitable for the development of detection and analysis methods for complex components.
High-resolution analysis
The newly developed chromatographic column (LaChromUltra II ODS C18, packing particle size 1.9 µ m, length 250 mm) has a theoretical plate count of over 50000 and a pressure resistance of up to 140MPa, achieving true ultra-high resolution analysis.
The new binary pump is equipped with a variable stroke independent plunger, in addition to Hitachi's unique LBT*1Technology and standard low capacity double helix mixer ensure better mixing effect and stability during infusion.
10 mm total reflection capillary flow cell can effectively reduce light scattering and achieve higher resolution.
High sensitivity analysis
The 65mm flow cell of the diode array detector (optional) has extremely high sensitivity and is particularly outstanding for detecting trace substances.
The new optical system of the diode array detector effectively reduces noise and drift, ensuring high sensitivity analysis results.
The automatic sampler is equipped with multiple cleaning modes and comes with a standard injection port recoil function, greatly reducing sample residue.

Peptide mapping method for hydrolyzed protein
The theoretical number of plates and peak capacity of the new chromatographic column (250 mm long, packing particle size 1.9 µ m) are higher. This chromatographic column can withstand higher pressure, and compared to a column with a packing particle size of 5 µ m (even if the length is the same), the analysis time is reduced by half, while the peak capacity is increased by 1.4 times.
