Photonis high-performance detectors (APDs) meet various applications from mass spectrometers to UV and X-ray astronomy. High performance detectors are used in some of the world's faster time-of-flight detection, physics research, and space missions, and they have high sensitivity to detect very low levels of photons, electrons, or ions. Most of these detector components can be used in high vacuum systems and can withstand a baking temperature of 300 ° C, saving time required for disassembling the detector. Optional readout methods include photodiode array, fluorescent screen, CCD camera, or direct electrical signal.
Each APDs is equipped with LongLife ™ Or MountingPad ™ Microchannel board. MCPs range in size from 4mm to 120mm and can be designed in many different shapes to accommodate APDs. The installation options include conflat flanges and metric flanges, which can be installed from all directions including front, back, or side. The electrical interface includes high-voltage through connections and SMA connectors. Customization options include center hole, center tab, grid, single anode, multi anode, position resolved impedance anode, fluorescent screen, CCD camera, and other readout options.
