Analysis principle:
The instrument adopts ultraviolet light/persulfate oxidation method.
The sample is first acidified, oxidizing the total inorganic carbon (TIC) in the water to carbon dioxide; Then use a carrier gas to blow out the carbon dioxide; Then add persulfate to the water sample and oxidize it with ultraviolet light (UV). At this time, TOC in the water is always oxidized to carbon dioxide; Then use a carrier gas to bring carbon dioxide into an infrared detector (NDIR) to detect the concentration of carbon dioxide and convert it into TOC concentration.
