OPTI-LYNX is the first to introduce HPLC and HPLC/MS low dispersion rapid connection systems, making it the most effective solution for high-throughput and single instrument laboratories. The system is simple, fast, and easy to use.

The OPTI-LYNX system is designed with modularity and strong versatility. The OPTI-LYNX accessory can be used with filters, protective columns, capture columns, or analytical columns. The end cap of the card sleeve is a surface with the same characteristic interaction, and only the card sleeve needs to be replaced. To install a protective column, simply unscrew the previous front column filter. If you want to use directly connected filters with different porosities and diameters, simply replace the embedded parts. It can be easily switched on and off in various application scenarios or any place where liquid pipeline connections need to be frequently interrupted. OPTI-LYNX is flexible to use and does not require any changes.

working principle

useOPTI-LYNX, Simply manually rotate a quarter turn to immediately complete or disconnect the pipeline connection. The OPTI-LYNX connection is made by assembling two components (slotted edge and fixed edge) together and connecting them to the joint. The OPTI-LYNX system combines practicality and versatility, as the connectors can be replaced with filters, capture columns, protective columns, and even analytical columns. Almost any component in the HPLC flow path can be assembled into the OPTI-LYNX insert.

The OPTI-SOLV online filter is installed between the pump and the sampler/automatic sampler, which can protect downstream components and avoid instrument shutdown and manual operation.

Just tighten by handPEEK fasteners can achieve high-pressure sealing. There are also stainless steel models available for wrench fastening. OPTI-SOLV is suitable for various application environments, such as high temperature environments.

The OPTI-SOLV micro filter provides low impact filtration, with a volume similar to that of a hand grip accessory. The use of micro filters can extend the lifespan of analytical columns and prevent small particle damage to mass spectrometers.

Through patented automatic depth adjustment of pipe stop, perfect zero dead volume connection can be achieved every time. The OPTI-SOLV micro filter is designed for filtration with volume requirements. Based on the design of micro filters, micro filters reduce the internal volume to below 200nL while retaining the ease of use and functionality of micro filters.

OPTI-TRAP™

OPTI-TRAP is a bidirectional capture card system that can be used individually or in series for sample concentration and purification. The OPTI-TRAP system is composed of a durable biocompatible trap jacket, which is made entirely of PEEK (capillary structure) or stainless steel with PEEK flow paths (micro and macro structures). OPTI-TRAP has low back pressure and can be manually loaded and eluted using a syringe, or injected into the injection valve online through a syringe.

OPTI-TRAPs contain titanium sieve plates that are fully biocompatible.

OPTI-LYNX™ MICRO

The OPTI-LYNX Micro has convenient quick connect card sleeves, providing a variety of filling card sleeve options for chromatographs. Multiple specifications are available for online and offline sample pre concentration and cleaning. The external dimensions of each card sleeve are the same, allowing different sizes and porosity to be used in the same card sleeve hardware. There are two styles of card sleeves available at the same time. The OPTI-LYNX Micro online card sleeve provides complete biocompatibility, while the direct threaded design facilitates access to all 10-32 interfaces.

The OPTI-LYNX capture column is an ideal tool for optimized capture technology. Whether separating peptide hydrolysate from its matrix for further analysis or preparing diluted small molecule samples for liquid phase injection without losing the sample, these chromatographic columns can be loaded at maximum and regenerated repeatedly.

OPTI-GUARD®Protection column

The analytical column is the core of the liquid chromatography system and also the most problematic part. The accumulation of fragment impurities in high-performance liquid chromatography columns can significantly reduce the service life of the analytical column, causing equipment shutdown, column failure, or other malfunctions.

Why do we need to protect the pillar

The best way to protect the analytical column from contamination is to use a protective column between the injector and the analytical column. The protective column can capture particles, solvent impurities, and retained sample components. The ideal protective column should not affect the separation efficiency of the analytical column. Therefore, in order to achieve the best results, protective pillars that match the bonding and the best hardware configuration should be selected.

Extra column volume

The application requirements of high-performance liquid chromatography are becoming increasingly stringent, such as smaller column bed volume, higher pressure, and higher sensitivity, therefore, better design of the protective column is needed. However, many manufacturers of protective columns overlook the dead volume that occurs when the protective column or sleeve is connected to the analytical column. Using preloading or integral nuts and clamps to design and secure the pipe rod will increase additional column volume(displayed in blue), and affects the column ratio. (Figure 1)

And other card sleeve protection columns require additional connectors and column tubes, which will also increase the additional column volume and reduce the overall performance of the system. (Image)2)

OPTI-GUARD® 1MM

OPTI-GUARD is a standard low impact, easy-to-use pre column protective column. The OPTI-GUARD is designed for conventional analysis columns (4.6mm, 3.0mm inner diameter) and narrow inner diameter analysis columns (2.1, 1.0mm inner diameter). The patented floating valve stem design can automatically adjust the pipe stopping depth after connecting any column tube, achieving true zero dead volume connection. The volume of OPTI-GUARD is the same as standard accessories. The filling material inside can be customized. ’

OPTIBack pressure regulator

The OPT flow-through back pressure regulator utilizes an active mechanism to maintain stable back pressure within the viscosity and flow rate range of the mobile phase. Placing a back pressure regulator downstream of the detector can prevent solvent depressurization and bubbles in the flow chamber, reducing baseline noise and drift.

The internal volume of each regulator is100μL, The preset pressures are 10 psi, 30 psi, 60 psi, 100 psi, and 150 psi.
