The HNT-CL concrete chloride ion detector is a testing instrument used to measure the concentration of chloride ions in a solution. This instrument is suitable for detecting chloride ion concentration in many fields such as water plants, industry, agriculture, teaching, and scientific research. It can also detect the chloride ion content in water-soluble chloride ions of materials such as concrete, sand and gravel, additives, and mixing water. Chloride ions are an important factor in inducing steel corrosion. In order to avoid premature corrosion of steel bars, the control of chloride ion content in concrete raw materials is quite strict. Some specifications in China explicitly require that when selecting concrete raw materials such as sand, aggregates, cement, additives, and mixing water, chloride ion content testing must be carried out to fundamentally avoid excessive chloride ion mixing into concrete. In order to control whether the chloride ion concentration of the tested water sample meets the specified standard for chloride ions.
