2. Keyboard function
The keyboard of the communicator includes a complete set of alphanumeric keys, eight dedicated function keys, and three character conversion keys.
3. Power supply
The power supply of the communicator consists of five AA rechargeable nickel manganese hydrogen batteries. During normal operation (including uninterrupted communication), HT388 consumes approximately 40 ± 5mA of current, while communicators with automatic backlight function require approximately 45mA of current when the backlight is turned on. And the communicator is equipped with a rechargeable battery and an intelligent charging circuit.
4. Connect communication
After connecting the 24V power supply, 230-500 Ω load, and transmitter, the two small clips led out from the top of HT388 are connected across the transmitter or load ends. The connected transmitter must have HART communication function in order to establish HART communication. If the existing function menu cannot meet the needs, customization can be made according to the requirements.
5. Testing: The testing functions include transmitter testing and loop testing. The purpose is to verify whether the transmitter, communicator, and circuit are working properly.
