They can be used in high-temperature, corrosion-resistant, insulating, non-magnetic, and non lubricated applications, and are an ideal material to replace steel balls in corrosive environments. It has the advantages of high strength and toughness, high density, good wear resistance, high temperature and corrosion resistance, high stiffness, non-magnetic, electrical insulation, and a thermal expansion coefficient close to that of steel.
