The glass tensile testing machine is a specialized equipment developed for the mechanical properties of materials such as organic glass and tempered glass. Glass materials have the characteristics of high strength and poor ductility. Some brittle glasses require the installation of protective nets during testing to prevent injury accidents. The preparation of glass sheet specimens should refer to the dimensions specified in ASTM D638 specification (see figure below), using a dedicated gripper, and PVC sheets should be placed at both ends of the specimen to avoid the gripper damaging the sheet and resulting in inaccurate test results. 2、 Performance of Glass Tensile Testing Machine
