Introduction to Franatech Company in Germany

Franatech is a company specializing in the research and production of underwater dissolved gas monitoring sensors. We have a world leading position in underwater methane monitoring sensors.
In 1999, the first practical underwater methane sensor was produced for the inspection and monitoring of methane underwater. This product has reliable industrial performance, extremely high cost-effectiveness, and can be applied to any sea area except Antarctica. Similarly, the product is also suitable for various large lakes, such as Lake Constance in Germany, Lake Kivu in Africa, and Lake Baikal in Russia.
Our sensors are widely used worldwide and have multiple applications, including hydrate investigation, underground tunnel monitoring, underwater oil and gas field detection, offshore facility safety and measurement, lake ecosystem measurement, climate research, deepwater resource research, groundwater quality monitoring, sewage monitoring, etc.
Our team has 14 years of experience in underwater natural gas monitoring, patented technology, and has published papers in many journals and magazines. We will continue to make unremitting efforts to improve customer satisfaction, which is the minimum commitment set by the world leader in underwater methane monitoring. We have extensive experience in experimentation and practical measurement, and can quickly respond and answer customer questions in the language they use.
The main products include:
1. CO2 Sensor Carbon Dioxide Sensor
2. METS Methane Sensor
3. Hydrogen Sensor
4. Oxygen Sensor Dissolved Oxygen Sensor
5. Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Sensor
Underwater methane sensor
Model: Classic METS
(Made in Germany)
Functional Principle
A high-sensitivity methane detector is installed in the detection room at the top of the sensor. A waterproof and pressure resistant silicone resin film separates the testing room from the external water environment. Gas molecules in water can diffuse into the detection chamber through the diaphragm and form a pressure gradient between the water and the detection chamber. According to the Law of Henry, the concentration of gas in the detection chamber is directly related to the concentration of gas in the external water environment. Therefore, the concentration of gas in the external water environment can be calculated.
The methane sensor comes from a research and development project funded by the German government (authorization number: BEO 71/03F0171A), and its working principle and related technology are protected by international patent law.
The sensitivity, power, response time, and response strength of a product are all interrelated. The following probes of various specifications are standardized commercial products, and we can also customize products according to customers' research needs.
