Mass flow meters are used to directly measure gas throughput in the field of process technology. In a volumetric flow meter, it is also necessary to measure temperature, pressure, or density, as the density or volume of a gas can vary with different pressures. On the contrary, the measurement of mass flow is not affected by pressure and temperature. The 8701 digital mass flow meter has a sensor based on a silicon chip (as described on page 2), which is directly located in the bypass pipeline. This method can achieve a very short device response time. The current traffic will be output as a simulated standard signal or through RS communication. The model 8701 can be calibrated for two different gases, and users can switch between the two. According to different user requirements, when selecting the material of the joint in contact with the medium, it should be ensured that all ordinary process gases can be used to operate the equipment. The typical use is to measure gas flow in inspection agencies, environmental technology, medical technology, and analysis.
