Purpose:

The Qubit GSS gas exchange system can be used in conjunction with the Q-Box series measurement system to measure gas changes in multiple samples. The GSS gas exchange system can control the introduction of gas into up to 8 (or 4) channels, enabling a Q-BOX system to measure multiple samples.

When the GSS gas exchange system is connected to a single Q-Box series measurement system, Q-Box RP1LP and Q-Box RP2LP can monitor up to 8 channels; Q-Box NF1LP and Q-Box CO650 can monitor up to 4 channels. The entire system can measure the respiration of multiple channels (VO2 and VCO2), plant nitrogen fixation, photosynthesis, and transpiration.
