working principle
This instrument is used to study the friction and wear properties of the tested material under high temperature and vacuum conditions. It consists of a computer control system, friction detection system, vacuum system, cooling water circulation system, heating device, and loading mechanism. Two different friction pairs, plug disk or ball disk, can be tested in a high-temperature vacuum environment ranging from room temperature to 1000 ℃ or in inert gases of different compositions. This device is equipped with automatic shutdown protection, high control accuracy, and easy operation.
The basic working principle is to first evacuate the high-temperature furnace chamber (non corrosive inert gas can be introduced), heat the sample temperature in the vacuum high-temperature furnace to the set value, apply the required load for the test through the loading mechanism, and drive the friction test block on the sample disk to rotate, causing it to rub against the mating surface (ball or plug). The computer detects the test temperature, friction coefficient, and other data, and displays and stores them in real-time graphics.
