I. Overview
The traditional methods for removing turbidity, discoloration, and organic matter include coagulation, precipitation, filtration, and disinfection. However, each unit area is independent and suitable for large manufacturers and centralized water supply areas, but it is not economical for small manufacturers or remote mountainous areas.
A few years ago, domestically developed KG-L water purifiers integrated coagulation, sedimentation, and filtration, but backwashing required manual backwashing and power supply, and the cycle was difficult to control, which affected the effluent quality and caused economic losses to manufacturers.
The development of ZG type fully automatic water purifier has absorbed advanced water purification processes at home and abroad, combined with our company's years of practical experience. It has the characteristics of practicality, high efficiency, stability, and low operating costs, and is a new type of product worth promoting.
2、 Characteristics
1. In addition to managing the dosing system in the primary pump room, the water purifier device itself meets the requirements of automatic operation through a series of operating procedures such as reaction, coagulation, sedimentation, sludge collection, water collection, water distribution, filtration, backwashing, and sewage discharge. The on duty personnel only need to perform regular water quality monitoring work and do not need to manage the operation of the water purifier device.
2. High concentration coagulation zone: The use of folded plate flocculation reaction can increase the probability of collision and adsorption of impurity particles in the raw water during the process, resulting in a reaction floc size of 3mm or more. This is because it has strong applicability to water quality and quantity changes, and has a short residence time, which can correspondingly save flocculation dosage.
3. The rapid sludge shortening chamber and adjustable automatic sludge discharge system can ensure timely removal of excess sludge impurities, thereby ensuring a stable removal rate of impurity particles.
4. Efficient flocculation machine sedimentation effect ensures that the effluent quality remains good.
5. The novel and original water collection system and the lowest water collection head make the water collection more uniform and effective, not only improving the volume utilization coefficient, but also having an extremely low water collection head, accumulating considerable energy-saving effects.
6. The automation of the water purification system ensures efficient filtration (the turbidity of the filtered water can be maintained below 3mg/1 when the original water turbidity is ≤ 3000mg/1 hour) and automatic backwashing, without the need for additional backwashing electrical equipment such as water pumps or air compressors, which can save a lot of infrastructure investment and daily operating costs.
7. The self consumption rate of water is low, less than 5%, which ensures the conservation of limited water resources.
8. It has a small footprint, saving about 50% of the total area compared to general water purification structures. It has a height of around 4.20 and can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
9. Adopt guide type opposite flow sedimentation inclined tube packing. Improve surface load, sedimentation effect, and shorten sedimentation time.
3、 Process flow
This device is a fully automatic water purifier that integrates mixing, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. The workflow is as follows:
Operation: Mixed→ Flocculation→ Sedimentation→ Filter→ Water outlet
Backwash start: Backwash water tank→ Siphon system→ Filter layer
Backwash completed: siphon controller→ Siphon system

1. Suitable for water plants in rural, urban, industrial and mining enterprises and institutions with various rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other sources of water with turbidity less than 3000mg/l and instantaneous turbidity of 5000mg/l, as the main water purification treatment device.
2. For lake water sources with low temperature, low turbidity, and seasonal algae, they have special adaptability.
3. Pre treatment equipment for high-purity water, beverage industry water, boiler water, etc.
4. Used for various industrial circulating water, it can effectively and significantly increase the amount of circulating water.
5. Used in the middle water channel system, the treatment equipment uses the effluent from the sewage treatment plant as the water source for purification and reuse.
6. Mixing: Using a static mixer for mixing, it has the advantages of low investment, easy pipeline installation, low maintenance workload, fast mixing, and good results.
7. Flocculation: Adopting folded plate flocculation.
8. Folding plate arrangement: The front section adopts peak to peak to increase head loss and flow velocity gradient value, the middle section adopts equal folding plates with a plate distance equal to the peak distance of the relative folding plates, and the end section adopts equal straight plates to reduce the flow velocity gradient value from large to small, so that the agent can come into contact with water in multiple directions, and the suspended solids in the water coagulate into hydrophobic substances.
9. Sedimentation: Adopting a sedimentation inclined tube packing material with opposite flow of guide mud, installed at an angle of 45 degrees to 60 degrees, so that the mud relies heavily on its own gravity and quickly slides down.
10. Filter: The type of filter material is determined by the quality of the raw water.
11. Upper water distribution: Adopting an inverted umbrella style water distribution, it has uniform water distribution and a simple structure.
12. Water collection device: adopting low resistance water collection, reducing head loss and avoiding filter material leakage, which affects the effluent quality.
13. Backwash: Based on the siphon principle, relying on siphon tubes, siphon auxiliary tubes, suction tubes, siphon destructive tubes, siphon controllers, etc.
14. When the filtered water continuously intercepts suspended solids in the incoming water due to the filter layer, the head loss of the filter layer gradually increases, causing the siphon to rise. When the water level in the pipe rises and enters the suction pipe, the air in the siphon pipe is carried away by the head effect, forming negative pressure. When the negative pressure reaches the design value, siphon phenomenon occurs. At this time, the water in the water tank is backwashed from bottom to top to be "regenerated". Due to continuous backwashing of the filter layer, when the water level in the water tank drops to the siphon controller, siphon stops, backwashing ends, and the filtering device starts working again.
15. Mud discharge: The pressure gravity mud discharge sensor is used for mud discharge, without the need for manual operation.
