Fulike 2850 sodium ion exchanger Fulai water softener control valve fully automatic water softener is suitable for single valve single tank systems. If used for dual tank systems, an additional valve is required to achieve this. Suitable for boiler water softeners and other industrial water softeners.
1、 Working principle:
The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations such as calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When the raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer of the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are replaced by the sodium ions in the resin. The resin adsorbs the calcium and magnesium ions, and the sodium ions enter the water. In this way, the water flowing out of the exchanger is softened water without hardness ions. As the exchange process continues, all Na+ions in the resin are removed and the exchange function is lost. At this time, NaCl solution must be used to regenerate the resin, replacing the Ca2+and Mg2+adsorbed by the resin. The resin re adsorbs sodium ions and restores its softening exchange ability.

2、 Work procedure:
1. Water supply: Untreated water passes through the resin layer, undergoes an exchange reaction, and produces soft water.
2. Backwash: Water enters from the lower part of the resin layer, loosens the resin, and removes fine impurities.
3. Salt water regeneration: Using high concentration salt water (NaCl) to flow through the resin, the failed resin is restored to sodium type usable resin.
4. Rinse: According to the process of water supply, rinse excess salt solution and regenerated calcium and magnesium ions through resin.
5. Water injection: Inject water into the salt tank to dissolve the salt for the next regeneration.
