Working Principle:The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations such as calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer inside the exchanger, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed by the resin, while sodium ions are exchanged and released. The water flowing out of the exchanger in this way is softened water with removed hardness ions. When the resin adsorbing calcium and magnesium ions reaches a certain level, the hardness of the effluent increases. At this time, the water softener automatically regenerates the failed resin, using a higher concentration of sodium chloride solution to pass through the failed resin and restore it to sodium type resin. The system is an integrated device consisting of resin tanks, salt tanks, and controllers. Installed centralized control valve from FLECK company in the United States to achieve program control operation and automatic regeneration; Adopting the siphon principle for salt absorption, automatic water injection for salt hydration and concentration ratio, without the need for auxiliary equipment such as salt pumps and salt dissolution.


1. The inlet pressure should be between 0.2-0.5MPa. When the water source pressure cannot meet the requirements, a booster pump can be installed to increase the inlet pressure. If the pressure is too high, a pressure reducing valve should be installed to control the inlet pressure.
2. The inlet water temperature should be between 5-45 ℃, and the power supply should be AC 200V/50Hz.
3. The water softener should be installed on a sturdy platform with unobstructed drainage nearby and sufficient space for operation and maintenance.
4. The working environment temperature should be between 5-50 ℃, and the relative humidity should be ≤ 95% (at 5 ℃).
