■ Overview

The steel strip level gauge is an industrial container level gauge that our company has introduced proprietary foreign technology and produced domestically. It is designed and manufactured using the principle of mechanical equilibrium. When the liquid level changes, the original mechanical equilibrium will reach a new equilibrium through the movement of the steel strip under the disturbance of buoyancy on the float. The liquid level detection device (float) drives the steel strip to move according to the liquid level, and the displacement transmission system drives the transmission pin to rotate through the movement of the steel strip, which then acts on the counter to display the liquid level.

The transmitter converts this liquid level situation into a standard electrical signal and outputs it through the signal line. This electrical signal can drive other control devices. ■ Purpose and Scope of Application

This level gauge is an industrial container level gauge that our factory has introduced proprietary technology from foreign level gauges and produced domestically. It has the advantages of strong practicality, large measurement range, high accuracy, stable performance, long service life, and easy maintenance. It can be widely used for connecting various transmitters in industrial sectors and ancillary facilities such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, environmental protection, municipal, and food industries. It converts the liquid level changes in containers into analog signals, electrical pulse signals, or switch signals and transmits them remotely to the control room for display or computer room for data display and processing.

Working principle and structure

It is designed and manufactured using the principle of mechanical equilibrium. It is composed of a liquid level detection device, a high-precision displacement transmission system, a constant force device, a display device, a transmitter device, and other peripherals.

The float immersed in the measured liquid is subjected to the effects of gravity W, buoyancy F, and a constant pulling force T generated by a constant force device. When the vector sum of the three forces is zero, the float is in a quasi equilibrium static state. The buoyancy at mechanical equilibrium is quasi constant (the volume V of the float immersed in the liquid is a constant value).

When the liquid level changes, the original mechanical equilibrium will reach a new equilibrium through the movement of the steel strip under the disturbance of buoyancy on the float. The liquid level detection device (float) drives the steel strip to move according to the liquid level, and the displacement transmission system drives the transmission pin to rotate through the movement of the steel strip, which then acts on the counter to display the liquid level.
