1、 Scope and Function of Application:

Purpose: It is suitable for measuring the falling ball springback performance of soft polyurethane foam

Falling ball rebound testerThe instrument automatically calculates the percentage (i.e. rebound rate) of the ratio of the rebound height of the steel ball to the falling height of the steel ball through the steel ball with the specified diameter and mass falling freely on the foam plastic sample at the specified height, and represents the rebound performance of the foam plastic with the rebound rate.

According to the standard testing requirements, each group of samples consists of 3 samples, and each sample is tested three times. 1. The difference between electrically releasing steel balls and manually releasing steel balls:

After the electromagnet loses its magnetism and falls freely after being powered off, it rebounds after coming into contact with the sample, greatly improving the efficiency of the test and the reliability of the data. At the same time, it also meets the requirement stipulated in the standard that the steel ball should not rotate and be in the center position when falling.

2. Advantages of both manual and automatic readings:

The accuracy of automatic measurement is relatively high, but if there are errors in the test results due to operational errors or uneven samples, manual readings can be used for comparison, effectively reducing the probability of errors and making the test data more rigorous.

3. Regarding the requirements for the value of the test results of the sample due to the rebound of the falling ball:

In the standard, the test results are summarized as follows: each group tests 3 samples, each sample tests 3 results, takes values from the 3 results, and calculates the average of the 3 values as the average rebound rate of the sample.
