FRPP pipes (glass fiber reinforced polypropylene pipes) are produced using glass fiber modified polypropylene materials treated with coupling agents. According to the HG20539-92 standard, the specifications are DN15-DN1500mm, with a nominal pressure of 0.4-1.0MPa. They are corrosion-resistant, high-temperature resistant, high-pressure resistant, hygienic and non-toxic, and can be recycled. They are suitable for transporting corrosive liquids (such as acidic and alkaline liquids) and municipal water supply and drainage systems. It has excellent impact resistance and tensile strength, is lightweight, and easy to install and maintain. The existing hot air welding connection, hot melt connection, and flange connection methods are widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, chemical fiber, chlor alkali, dyes, water supply and drainage, food, medicine, sewage treatment, electrolysis, etc.
Characteristics of FRPP pipe:
1. Long service life: Under rated temperature and pressure conditions, FRPP pipes can be safely used for more than 50 years.
2. Corrosion resistance: FRPP pipes can withstand the corrosion of most chemicals and can withstand high concentrations of acid and alkali with pH values ranging from 1-14 over a wide range.
3. High stiffness: Due to the addition of fiberglass reinforcement material, the FRPP pipe is not easily deformed.
4. Heat resistant insulation and energy saving: FRPP pipes reach a temperature of 95 degrees, and the thermal conductivity of this product is only 1/200 of steel pipes, so it has good insulation performance.
5. Reliable connection performance: The strength of the FRPP pipe hot melt interface is higher than that of the pipe body, and the joint will not break due to soil movement or load.
6. Good construction performance: FRPP pipes are lightweight, have simple welding processes, are easy to construct, and have low overall project costs.
