The HFCM-900 α - β Hand and Foot Surface Pollution Monitor is mainly used in radioactive control channels of nuclear power plants or related nuclear facility buildings to monitor surface pollution on the hands and feet of workers from the control area, in order to detect pollution in a timely manner and prevent pollution transfer. It can also be used in other radioactive isotope application departments, is an important equipment in the field of nuclear radiation protection, and is one of the means to ensure safe production in nuclear power plants or related nuclear facilities and other radioactive isotope application departments.
Its main function is to determine whether the pollution level on the surface of the hands and feet of the tested person exceeds the limit set by the owner by measuring the pollution level; By analyzing the measurement data saved by the instrument in a timely manner, potential safety hazards can be identified; Avoid cross contamination between controlled and uncontrolled areas to prevent pollution from spreading.
Product Features
This instrument selects 9 large flat cap counters imported from the United States as detectors, which have the characteristics of simple maintenance, long service life, and good energy response. It is convenient to use a radioactive source to check whether the instrument is working properly.
The instrument uses a two-step method to monitor contamination on the surface of the hands of the tested human body, measuring the palms and backs of the hands separately. If there is contamination on the surface of the tested human body's hands and feet, the instrument will automatically sound an alarm and indicate the specific location of the contamination.
The entire monitoring process of the instrument is fully automated.
