Eppendorf consumables (including Eppendorf Tubes)®3810X) is made of high-quality, ultra-high purity proprietary polypropylene materials that comply with FDA guidelines 21 CFR § 177.1520 "Olefin Polymers" and 21 CFR § 178.2010 "Polymer Antioxidants and Stabilizers". Extensive quality inspections were conducted on these materials before and during production. In addition, functional checks were conducted on the finished product. The functional inspection of the reaction tube includes the safety of the tube cover closure in the hot water bath, centrifugal stability, and evaporation airtightness. These quality controls and inspections ensure that all batches of products have the highest quality throughout the entire production process. The production process does not add release agents, plasticizers, and antibacterial agents - these substances can leak from plastic consumables into the sample and have adverse effects on biological testing results, such as nucleic acid quantification testing at 260 nm using spectrophotometry.
