wet electrostatic precipitatorIt is a new method used to treat trace amounts of dust and particlesDust removal equipmentIt is mainly used to remove harmful substances such as dust, acid mist, water droplets, aerosols, odors, PM2.5, etc. from moist gases, and is an ideal equipment for treating atmospheric dust pollution.
wetElectrostatic precipitatorfeature
WESP has high dust removal efficiency, low pressure loss, simple operation, low energy consumption, no moving parts, no secondary dust, low maintenance costs, short production downtime, can work below the dew point temperature of flue gas, can be combined with other flue gas treatment equipment due to its compact structure, and has a design form
Wet electricitydust collectorStructure and classification
Electrostatic precipitator companyThere are mainly two structural forms, one is to use corrosion-resistant conductive materials (which can be non-metallic materials with conductive properties or metallic materials with corrosion-resistant characteristics) as dust collectors, and the other is to use non-conductive non-metallic materials as dust collectors by forming a conductive water film through water spraying or overflow.
The dust accumulated on the electrode plate can be washed off with water. Wet cleaning can avoid the re flying of captured dust and achieve high dust removal efficiency. Due to the absence of a vibration device, the operation is also relatively reliable. The device that forms a conductive film on the surface of the dust collector by spraying water or overflow water has problems with corrosion, sludge and sewage treatment, and is only used when the gas dust concentration is low and high dust removal efficiency is required; Using corrosion-resistant conductive materials as dust collectorsWet electrostatic precipitatorNo need for long-term water spraying or overflow, only regular flushing is carried out based on the system's operating conditions, consuming only a very small amount of water. This part of the water can be recycled and reused, and the dust collection system has basically no secondary pollution.
Wet electrostatic precipitators can also be divided into cross flow (horizontal) and vertical flow (vertical) according to the flow direction of the exhaust gas. Cross flow type is mostly a plate structure, and the gas flow direction is horizontal in and out, similar in structure to dry electrostatic precipitators; Vertical flow is mostly a tubular structure, with gas flowing in and out in a vertical direction. Generally speaking, under the same ventilation cross-sectional area, the efficiency of a vertical flow wet electrostatic precipitator is twice that of a horizontal flow type.
Diversification and other advantages.
Wet electrostatic precipitators use liquid flushing to clean the surface of the dust collection electrode, which can effectively collect fine particles (PM2.5 dust, SO3 acid mist, aerosols), heavy metals (Hg, As, Se, Pb, Cr), organic pollutants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dioxins), etc. After using a wet electrostatic precipitator, the emission of smoke and dust in wet flue gas can reach 10mg/m3 or even 5mg/m3 or less. The dust collection performance is independent of the dust characteristics and is suitable for the treatment of wet flue gas, especially for the treatment of dusty flue gas after wet desulfurization in power plants and steel plants. However, the equipment investment cost is relatively high and needs to be used in conjunction with other dust removal equipment. Its investment, technical, economic and operating costs need to be evaluated as a whole.
Dust collection principle of wet electrostatic precipitator
The dust collection principle of wet electrostatic precipitator and dry electrostatic precipitator is the same, both rely on high-voltage corona discharge to charge the dust, and the charged dust reaches the dust collection plate/pipe under the action of electric field force. Dry electrostatic precipitators mainly deal with dry gases with low water content, while wet electrostatic precipitators mainly deal with wet gases with high or even saturated water content. There is a significant difference between WESP and DESP in the way dust is collected on the dust collection plate/tube. Dry electrostatic precipitators generally use mechanical vibration or acoustic cleaning to remove dust from the electrodes, while wet electrostatic precipitators use regular flushing to allow dust to flow with the flushing solution.
